Situated in the beautiful Kinross-Shire countryside, yet conveniently only a few minutes' drive from the M90, this venue is the perfect spot for a relaxed and intimate wedding or special celebration.

Surrounded by mature trees and fields, the house is a handsome yet welcoming home, built in the mid nineteenth century.
​
To the side sits The Orangery, built slightly later, boasting a domed roof, rounded blown Victorian windows, and a ceiling resplendent with real passionfruit flowers, honeysuckle and wisteria.
​
Here we can welcome up to 25 guests, for either a sit down, relaxed and intimate wedding.
The ceremony can be held in front of the marble fireplace, followed by a small drinks reception or supper should you wish.
The grounds are a breathtaking mix of formal planting and wild surprises.
Bordered by rhododendron bushes, sweet cherry trees, oak, and many many more, the grounds are a perfect private place for a party.

There is plenty of room by either of our enormous beech trees to have a marquee, bell tent, or whatever you would like... And the grounds provide a host of lovely photo opportunities.

You might even be lucky enough to meet the family of roe deer, the red squirrels, or our chickens who potter around the land!

We are very lucky to have all manner of flora and fauna right at our doorstep. From Feverfew to Beeblossom, from Wild Angelica to Grape Leaf Anenome, we have a multitude of plants and flowers which we can use to decorate the space.

At Tartan Kipper we strive to create something unusual or one off for every client, which means no two celebrations are the same.
We can use used bottles, hay bales, old pallets...Or, we can go upmarket and use velvets, china and crystal...the choice is absolutely up to you!
